Yeezus was pushing the envelope sonically... this project is NOT. And I hate when artists drop a short project and still include some interludes in it. Never rocked with that

It's not really trying to push the envelope....he's just rocking over beats with more of an abrasive electronic sound. For the kind of music it is, it's very, very good production. He's got two tracks from SOPHIE who is one of the best producers on the weirdo pop/electronic scene. These beats knock but just not in a conventional hip hop sense

But I understand that it is gonna be too leftfield for some heads, which is cool, but the music is far from trash.

Parts of it kinda remind me of what Blu was doing with NOYORK

Yeah Right is one of my favorite tracks of the year so far. I'll sit with this one a while, but off first listen I think it's dope. Maybe even better than Summertime '06.

I appreciate artists branching out, and I think it is a well produced album. But its still just not that good.

Nothing fits for me. Vince doesn't sound like he knows how to handle the music. Flow is wack and uninteresting. Songwriting is weak.

Its not bad, its just not that good.

I wanted to like it, I gave it another listen to see if anything clicked. Nothing did.

I will try again at some point.
