how he damn near 9 years deep, being at a fukking pro day
:dead:

I'l give Mack Brown one thing, he sticks with his players. He didn't have to let Vince work out or give him another chance.

I dont see many, if any, other colleges coaches that would do that.

I never saw IT in him. Dude just another over-hyped college player who has a following due to his college career success. TEEBOW mania like except he at least has some talent. Cats like that is the reason i cant honestly get into college football

:childplease: :childplease: :childplease: :childplease: :childplease: :childplease:

Oh is that why?

How was he over-hyped in college? Did he not put up the numbers?

I'll never understand why you guys look at a players NFL career and then try to downplay what they did in college. It's all the same for the dudes who weren't standout college players, then become NFL superstars.

Never understood this. Not just fans, but some scouts too. Always shyttin on some dude who was a star in college because he doesn't have the ideal NFL measureables. Then when they become good NFL players, someone found a steal. :beli:

A man does this in the NFL and has to "humble himself" for scouts? :sadbron:

When i said cats like that i meant the typical college football fan who overhype these players. Not Vince Young. THo, It would really piss me off to see a player that i rooted and had high expectations for during their college careers come out and fall flat on their faces in the pros.

As for Vince Young himself: I'll admit Fisher had little patience with him and kept him on a short leash. Typically QBs picked in te first round are given more leeway to make mistakes and learn from them. I'll admit he didnt get ALL the opportunities that you would normally give a QB picked top 10 to besuccessful. BUT let's not act like the kid didnt get any chances to succeed at all. Plenty of others would kill for the opportunities VY got. All you clones who followed him in college were hoping he'd come to the pros and be the gawd QB. THen when he fails ya'll had a thousand excuses and all the sudden Fisher was racist. :rudy:

Yeah, it's sad and this seems to be happening more often.

I`ve heard of other athletes working out at their colleges pro day, stop that shyt.

Get your own private workout with a team and let the kids shine. Taking food out of a childs mouth

That's crazy that Vince is almost about to be 30 already and is pretty much finished in the league. I would think that with the read option offense he would be a good fit as a backup with a team like the Niners or Seahawks. That way if their starter got hurt, they wouldn't have to totally change their offense. But I guess Vince has burned to many bridges in the league.

I'm just calling it how i see it breh.

  • Vince YOung
  • Teebow
  • Matt Leinhart

All overhyped college QBs that never quite made it big in the NFL. Sorry to mention your boy in the same sentence as no talent Teebow but i'm just listing those that have staln-like following. Their fans think every coach and every team failed these QBs as opposed to the other way around
