I can't hate on any brothers getting any commercials I didn't think it was that bad:yeshrug:

Would I rather see Vince Young in the NFL? Absolutely but that ain't happening right now and these brothers need to generate income so:yeshrug:

I feel like Terrell Owens gets forgotten when it comes to talking about the very best players in NFL history.

Over the last 15 years we've heard nonstop how great Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are. And before that there was John Madden's insane weekly fellatio of Brett Favre.

But Terrell Owens is probably a top 3-4 WR of all-time. You could argue it's basically Moss, Rice and Owens. But he's rarely mentioned in any great football discussions.
And I get that he never strung along several 100-catch seasons. Maybe if he started his career 10 years later it might have been different.

Yep I agree with everything you said and can't stand TO and believe he will shuck and jive for a check at the drop of a hat. But everything you posted is true about the dude.

to is #2 or #3 WR of all time depending who you ask (I have him #2 over Moss but its close and some days i feel different.. people like to forget those Moss raider years existed :lolbron: which to his defense, those teams were horrible no one was going to do great there ). Like clear #2 and #3.. as in theres no debate.. the amount of disrespect he gets is ridiculous

I give TO top 3 but the media dislikes him so much that they choose to ignore him and Randy too when it comes to talking about all time greats.

RIght? TO one of the illest WR's ever. Also one of the most talked about.

Owens is one of the most talked about for his antics, but I think @Raul was talking about his ability as a player. When people bring up TO in random conversations nowadays hardly any one mentions his greatness as a WR.

If folks do bring him up as a player they begrudingly admit he was pretty good, but he was more than that. He wasn't just another elite receiver in an era full of them, he was a cut above, and is arguably top 3 of all time.

Put it this way, he's higher on the All Time list for receivers than Favre or Manning are as quarterbacks, yet he never gets anywhere near the same amount of respect. I know QB's are more popular, but many people (mostly cacs) let their personal opinion of him as a man cloud their thoughts of him overall.
