Again that is reality, and that is what they were, and nothing is wrong with that. I think it is more of your problem than theirs. Prior to the Juba conference in 1947 what is now known as South Sudan was pretty much a separate entity, the British wanted to merge them what later became Uganda, but they voted to joined what was then British/Egypt/Sudan.

The people in the photo you replied to are from Rwanda. I recognize their Tutsi clothing/features.
