Feminism the idea of equality between the sexes is a great concept, and women have been working towards this concept for centuries (the Suffragettes, Sojourner Truth, etc.). It's not just the 60s movement which was largely coopted by white woman. Most women even the male-identified ones believe in the concept of feminism. Because most whites are racist trash naturally a movement taken over by them will be exclusionary to nonwhites hence womanism a concept that explores the experience of being black and female. There is nothing wrong with the concept of feminism. In practice though white women have all, but ruined it.

For the umpteenth time. What feminism is supposed to be about in theory/concept and what's it's actually been about in reality are two different things. Nobody can argue with the theory or the belief that women deserve equal rights, but that's not what feminism is about and you don't have to be a feminist to believe that women deserve equal rights. In reality, feminism is about individual groups of women advocating for their own individual group. This has been true from the very beginning and it's true now. There has never been a time when women classified as feminists have fought for the equality of all women. All of the suffragists were racist white women who saw black women(people) as inferior. You know that Stanton, Anthony, ect. were racist as fukk. The term feminism was created by a white man for white women. They didn't wait until the 60's to co opt the movement, it was their movement from the start. Feminism was never for black women. Stop telling the lie that you have to be a feminist or agree with feminism to believe in equality for women. You don't. Sojourner Truth fought for the eqaulity of women before that term even existed. She was t a feminist she was just an individual who believed in equality.
