Violent diarrhea virus is sweeping across the U.S, causing schools to close

My whole house caught it. Had to pick my son up from school on Valentine day because he threw up. My 6month old just left his pediatrician earlier today and currently I'm at the Urgent Care as I type. I was throwing up around Valentine day as well, and I'm still having symptoms ever since. Lost 10lbs. Waiting on the doctor here to see what it is.

We call that the 'Double Dragon' in the navy. The reason why is that it usually causes whoever caught it to have explosive diarrhea AND uncontrollable vomiting at the same time.

Like, literally the same time. You run to the toilet to vomit, then your stomach gurgles and next thing you know, diarrhea just starts pouring out.

That shyt spreads like crazy, too. My entire ship of 1000+ caught that shyt in about a week. The worst part is that it lasts for 3 days, of which, you'll be stuck on either the toilet or in your bed.

My advice is to buy anti-dehydration packs and start downing them as soon as you get symptoms (bloated stomach that hurts like a bytch, nausea, etc.)
