This is SWVB, not far from the neighborhood Pusha T and Malice from. Go 3.5 miles west down Lynnhaven and you hit the blocks they grew up on...

The irony in this is this is in Landstown, which may be the most diverse neighborhood in the city. She lives on a tiny cul-de-sac where maybe they the only black family, but the Landstown area is like 20%+ black and has even representation of everybody across the board. It's not an area where a guy should be offended seeing black families, and its a popping area...

Salem is the neighborhood to the west that's more white where Clipse are from...

This is a bad look for VBPD, and further bad looks for The Beach in general; it's a stain on an otherwise brilliant city. Pharrell just pulled Something In The Water because City Council is refusing to acknowledging VBPD's racism. Just bad press after bad press for a city that's actually really integrated compared to most places in the US, and is fairly diverse enough. It's not a bad place to live black at all, I will forever love the city, but as in most places you gotta know what areas you're in and there is a history of oppressing black people here...

Now that Cracker Jack is outed I hope they charge his dumb ass and his passive ass, closet racist wife...

I spent a few days down there at the height of covid. Hotel was on the beach but drove around a lot. It seemed like a nice community. diverse like you said and most black folks looked to be doing well. Even in the whiter parts no set of weird looks from whites, everyone just seemed chill. that couple should be shamed in public, hope they bring this up to their job or sink whatever business they own

The Strip (which is what locals call The Oceanfront area you were at) is one of the whitest areas of the city. The funny thing is there are a half-dozen other beaches in town but the tourist trap everyone calls "Virginia Beach" is where you were...

I tell people this all the time, The Beach is a living, breathing, real city, and if you had a local as a tour guide to show you around you could see some of the things most travelers miss. It's really an outstanding city, one of the best cities in the country for my money. Most black people here are middle class, and there's a creative atmosphere...

Most white people in VB are fine. The further east you go, like towards The Strip, the whiter it gets; most of us live in the western parts (NW/SW) of the city. And in some of those eastern areas of town it can be uncomfortable, you'll get uncomfortable looks and shyt like that, but thats not really different from what most of America is like---->in most cities there are areas where we aren't necessarily welcome...

VBPD has an issue with profiling like most police departments, so that is definitely a thing too. But it's more of a high upside city for black people than most of its region and most of the country...

He was who we thought he was. It’s always these short fat out of shape CACs that are the biggest cowards.

how can you be like that and have an asian wife? :wtf:

Something needs to happen though, this is torment.
The mother said since her kid was 2 that's all he has known. That's unacceptable!! Something needs to happen.

he might be filipino or part filipino himself…someone here familiar with the situation said as much earlier in the thread…even if he is white I don’t see the surprise…they will “tolerate” other races/cultures before ours

I wasn't dating when I was there but it didn't seem bad to me. Heavily transient region so always new women around. Some of the baddest concentration of black women in the US, the bunnies are hit and miss but the ones who are right are real right, The Beach and Chesapeake are full of fine ass Asian broads, there's some Boricuas around too...

I actually thought it was pretty easy to date there but I wasn't single so I guess I can't really know!
