I just did a search and saw some of your comments about what wildself just mentioned.
What drew my attention was not your personal preferences, it was how you (correctly) challenged people who had false notions about the African presence in Latin America. In fact ,more than once you directed people to "learn and read more about transatlantic slave trade before they posted".
So in fact I'm surprised that a person who considers himself knowledgeable about the trans. Atlantic slave trade would write "why should go to the place where we were sold out?" Does the cape only come out when dealing with Latinas, & goes in the cleaners when dealing with cont. Africans ?
There are current threads up about coli members using dna technology to discover/locate blood relatives currently on the continent. I know this complicates the "they sold us""they sold us out" narrative, as if the current ethnic groups there conspired to capture and sell EVERY member of the tribes/groups you descend from and that you no longer have any blood relatives in the "place that sold us out". Wars, conflicts, raids, etc probably had people from your DIRECT lineage following the lead of their rulers and being the aggressors or the victims at any given time during the centuries that Euros bought enslaved people along the coasts.
But hey, blame EVERY single African in 2019, or every single person in modern day Ghana for selling your people out.
