I love Japan, just got to go there with a plan. Tokyo/Osaka/Kyoto/Fukuoka are too big and there's so much to do for someone just to show up with no plan. Peace Park (Ground Zero) in Nagasaki is amazing also...

Yea breh it's a new ball game out there now but as far as the female approach game either u got it or u don't and if u do won't matter where u are or how many years go by it will still give u the same results a win

Sohh I'm making my way out to Tokyo for a week. I've never been to Japan before and I'm riding solo so I'm looking for places to see, things to do, best places to sleep etc

Anybody ever been ? If so, what is your experience, and how do you think they treat black people out there?

@Clutch Robinson , most importantly don;t forget to get a JR(Japan Rail) Pass before you get out there!! Japan Rail Pass (JR Pass) It's only offered to tourists. It takes about 3 days to get once you apply for it online. That's the quickest way to travel back and forth between town and cities out there. Enjoy.

@Clutch Robinson and @Gonzo , totally ignore this ^ post brush. If you're going to be in Tokyo or Kyoto no Asians will even care you're there. Africans set up shop and live out there, so a black person is def not anything new there. I went to a black-owned bar out there. Outside the city is where english will somewhat hard to come across. But within the city a lot of things also say the english translation so you'll be able to get by. Not sure if there's a major city in the world safer than Tokyo. I've seen kids who looked about 5 or 6yrs old taking the train to school out there. Safety is def not a problem.

Also, if you think chiks on the average out there gonna look like the ones you put in your original post. Some are cute but they are pretty slim with not really any variation in shapes. I went in the summer and a lot were wearing very short skirts but didn't have any ass.

Oh yeah I'm not expecting supermodels or nothing like that lol. I know enough Japanese probably to get around, but its all classroom Japanese...not sure how well I will fare with native speakers but we shall see. I only plan on staying in Tokyo, so I don't plan on going out to the countryside. I figured there were more black people than most people think, since I have friends out at one of the military bases out there.

Breh when was the last time you been to tokyo?

1.They teach english in schools like they teach spanish in cali
2. Ain't no one starring at nikkas like that in tokyo. Military bases are all around and I see nikkas everyday in tokyo (mostly africans)
3.Black clubs in tokyo are just like clubs in atlanta......why? because most of the nikkas who go to them are military from the states
4.Japanese girls who like nikkas (or any americans for that matter) are called amejo and they know how nikkas operate because they already been ran thru. Most know when you trying to run game and you ain't gonna be impressing no one thinking you can bring the hood to japan.
5.No one is going to rob you in japan. I see people who get too drunk and pretty much sleep the rest of the night on the side walk and no one bothers them. This ain't a 3rd world country where people will gank you because you got jordans on.
6.Where da fukk you eating at?! Soba, ramen, yakitori, izakaya will fill you up easily. Bento places are cheap as fukk and easy to get full off of too.

Club Fetti huh? I'm going to try to check it out. Have you heard anything about tourists getting drugged and robbed in Roppongi? One of my boys said something about shady bartenders drugging drinks and overcharging people or was he being overdramatic?
If I'm trying to pick up a chick outside of the club scene, where should I look?

Oh I could also use some help with the dollar/yen conversion...how much money should I bring and how far will a few hundred dollars stretch? Average price of meals/bars/drinks?

• If you are out late clubbing and need a quick nap, got to one of the many karaoke towers where you can rent a room for karaoke parties for as long as you want.

I've done that in NYC before, I didn't know it was an actual mainland Japan type thing

Train. Cabs cost a lot. I just took a pic of the map I still have.

Very easy to follow. I think Tokyo has the best train system I've ever seen to be honest. Them shyts are on time and come like 2mins after each other during rush hr.

my younger brother went there on foreign exchange for nearly a year. said he enjoyed much of it as he's a big fan of the culture. but he experienced extreme racism. public transportation is big there. everyone stared at him everywhere he went. people wouldnt know he was fluent in japanese and would be talking about him like a dog. good luck bruh.
