I'm a bar man myself...grew up in Rockaway my whole life...now outsiders may hate as its off the beaten path and is kind of out of the way but it's the best beach in NYC i dont give a fukk what anybody says and since summer is right around the corner, u should definitely hit the beach/boardwalk...DONT go to beach 116th where the train lets u out, its a zoo over there, literally thousands of bodies....try to make ur way up to 120-125th and chill out there...technically ur not supposed to drink on the beach but everybody does n its rarely enforced if u rock a red solo cup....also the concessions just reopened for the summer on beach 102nd and 92nd....on the weekends they have bars serving beer, plenty of chicks, and dj's playin til about midnight...once ur done there u can just walk up the block to one of the many local bars (Connoly's, Playland, Bungalow, etc.) ...
If you wanna check out brooklyn there's literally so much shyt u can do its too much to type...it really depends what kinda vibe ur going for....if u want bars with an old brooklyn feel, hit up bay ridge/park slope....if u want that hipster p*ssy head to williamsburg/bushwich...crown heights/bed stuy/fulton street/fort green are all dope and there's literally a million places to go/have fun......

and as for manhattan i mean it depends whether u wanna do touristy shyt or wander around...i would suggest just goin out around the village and wandering into watever place u want...the world is at ur fingertips
