That's fast food and eating it with your hands is culturally acceptable in the US. Hamburgers and hot dogs are "finger foods" synonymous with red-blooded Americana.
Eating rice and other dishes without utensils like they do in foreign nations where Black and Brown people come from is not culturally acceptable to the groups that hold the highest voting power in the USA.
This is the same country that rejected a white male presidential candidate, who won his primary, because he looked like a doofus in a tank helmet. Not because of a controversial statement, not for alienating his Democrat base, not because of any policy in his campaign.
Just because of a goofy photo op.
Keep giving the American electorate, especially the heavily racist sectors, the benefit of the doubt when it comes to how easily they're emotionally manipulated.
