Vlad and Math Hoffa double down on hating FBA. Microphone Check movie wasn’t accurate to them.

James Brown influenced hip hop infinitely more then this mythical DJ Herc that no one ever has played or listened to in the history of any cookout or party in Black American history.

These mfers are grifters :skip:
This is obviously a false statement. As Herc as an important Dj in the Bronx era. He played the music the B Boys (Bronx Boys) wanted. The Black Spades and 5%ers.

The music was (Black) American, but it was a particular style. It was the “outcast” music they embraced. It’s obvious you’re not from the Bronx. Neither am I, but the time I knew people from the Bronx (who already been involved in Hip Hop).

There is a reason why in the early days 99 % of rap music came from the Bronx, as it started to spread to other Borrows like Harlem, Brooklyn etc. And from there to other States first East Coast, later West Coast, Midwest etc.

Now people are just saying anything.

Nobody wants to talk about how black Americans helped create reggae. But that’s a whole different discussion. These are documented facts as well.

been documented any Old school Dancehall cat will tell you that Dancehall actually way before it was Dancehall was playing R&B records.

Bob Marley listed Fats Domino as an influence and did a cover of an Impressions song.

I just gave you one. :skip: Curtis Mayfield, Little Richard, Howling Wolf, Lucille Bogan, ectera ectera the list can go on for a full page

No one singular man on person created hip hop it was the natural flow of musical evolution of Black America from blues to jazz to rock n roll to funk to soul like it was the natural creation of all that that birthed hip hop from the mannerisms to the bravado to the rhyming to the beats.

Not some Clarke wearing Jamaicans with a sound system GTFO with that:mjlol:

As a Black American I can't let you cover up my DEEPPP well of tradition and musical traditions within my culture with the simplistic lie that Kool Herc(a Jamaican)with his magical sound system came over and created hip hop anything sorry I'm a little too smart and knowledgeable of my history to allow that

When you discuss Hip Hop are you only discussing the music or the other cultural elements that define it, like Graffiti and Breakdancing?
Also, Mayfield, Little Richard are influences but I don't believe you can give them credit for the creation of Hip Hop. We should discuss the actual names of the people who created Hip Hop.

I'm talking about both the music and the cultural elements as they're are both intertwined one doesn't exist with the other.

Bobby Womack and James Brown were more HIP HOP/rapper adjacent and about the life then any Jamaican in the South Bronx could ever dream of go read a report:mjgrin:

Where do you think rappers got their bravado, style, and lingo from some Jamaicans off a boat :mjlol: Curtis Mayfield was talking about bad bytches in his song BACK IN 1968

Who created reggae?
Who created jazz?
Who created samba?
Who created meringue?
Who created Kompa?

The fukk type of goofy shyt is that where we put names on a list of Who created a type of music y'all only do that to rap/hip hop to shoehorn you Kool Herc argument.
