You got a point, and I still wear some baggy or slightly sagged clothing from time to time cause I don’t follow today’s fashion as muchJay, Diddy all dress their age now, you might see them dress more casual same with 50. Em dresses like his old self at times, hoodies and tees and kicks but even he’s more into the casual style in this age. As for Em being racist there’s a very fine line for him when he made those tapes. It basically shows he had some hate and malice to say those things on record. As mad as he could’ve been that didn’t have to be recorded and thought about.

I guess it depends on the person breh. Based on what you’ve said about yourself, it appears to me that compared to most people you are able to empathize and are conscious of how your behavior may offend others. Despite only being part white you make that effort to not do anything others may find offensive, which is commendable. If you read some of the posts I’ve made on these forums about different races throughout the years, you probably would assume I was a racist too, which is far from the reality, and I think (or at least hope) the same can be said about a lot of the other posters who make dumb ignorant posts too.
I guess because you were judging Em on your own standards that you hold yourself up to it does make you view things differently.

It STILL leaked. And its laughable to compare them confirming MJ's death to uncovering a tape of Justin Bieber making a racist tape. For one the world stops for MJ. A tape of Justin Bieber uttering racial slurs is a story you run on a slow news day. White people being racist is not earth shattering news. The only people shocked were naive white folk and people who run around calling him Biebervelli. And then the whole kicker is, some people brush off stuff like this with faulty logic like "he can't be racist because Usher signed him".

I’ve definitely got my share of ignorant posts on here too, which sometimes I regret but as we get older we learn not to use the negativity against people. Everyday we grow, we can’t always be the same person in the past. Em might’ve regretted what he said so we really don’t know how he feels about it. It just looks bad for him to use it in a really wrong way. I can’t judge too much cause I’ve used the word but not in the derogatory way he used it in that those tapes or the magazine I’ve seen in the earlier posts of this thread but It’s still wrong either way.

No, you're deliberately missing an OBVIOUS point.

Same outlet that was able to break the story of MJ dying, conceivably has access to EVERY celeb story possible.
I was making the point that somebody on TMZ surely knew of existence of Bieber tape, and would have reported it if they wanted to......but that some sort of back door deal was made to suppress it. It ended up leaking YEARS later.

Nobody was going to be blackballed for dissing Eminem. Why? Nas and Jay Z survived "Ether" and "Takeover". Those are two of the most scathing diss records ever. Their status in Hip Hop was elevated because of that battle. Nas even said they strategically tried to block his records, but it didn't hurt his career.

Justin Bieber has a whole video of him saying nikka with the er on it. How many people came at him? The reason why the industry is tight lipped on white artists making racist comments is because pretty much every white person uses or has said the word at some point, so you have an industry of people who see it as asinine to check someone over something they said years ago. Should we overlook it? No, but they all have skeletons in their closet because America is racist by design.

This shouldn't have even been a take down of Eminem, but white artists at large coming into the culture and disrespecting it. But again, Benzino went at Eminem with battle raps and it overshadowed the bigger issue. So when people sided with Eminem because they only saw Benzino vs. Eminem instead of Hip Hop culture vs Eminem, it shouldn't have been a surprise. Nobody thought Benzino was a better rapper or had better disses. A diss record wasn't going to end Eminem's career either no matter how powerful it was.

Additionally, when you label a cac as “racist”, what measure are you applying here in terms of their hatred for blacks/other races? You have some cacs that would like to murder all blacks, you have some who just want them to “return to Africa”, you have some cacs who may not care to share America with blacks in principle, however do feel they are superior or more entitled because of their skin, cacs who have no issues with blacks, even let their kids befriend blacks, but don’t want their kid marrying outside their race, and so on and so forth. Are all these people I described equally racist and would elicit the same kind of response from the black community if their feelings/thoughts were found out? Muhammed Ali would be ok with last cac I described for example, this based on his own comments about being against interracial marriage.

So returning to the subject of Justin’s tape, is a teen cac making a corny racist joke meant to provoke the same outrage that Donald Sterling’s tapes did? Although in Sterling’s case he didn’t even use the n-word as far as I recall, at least not in the tape that forced him to sell his team to Palmer.

That still doesn't make sense to leak some of them and keep the most offensive ones. I'm not talking about guessing. I'm talking about what can actually be proven.

Interscope didn't leak the tapes though, the Source did, what I'm saying is possibly the source didn't have the other tapes. Either way you're right, I'm just speculating. What I do know for certain though is that there's dozens of examples, including songs, interviews, promo tapes, first hand accounts, film, television, business moves etc etc that are examples of Eminem being racist on varying levels. How many times does a person have be shown something before they will believe it. If there's additional tapes out there (and I'm sure there is) is irrelevant. Doesn't change the current facts.

However a young cac sharing a racist joke isn’t exactly earth shattering news breh, by law at that age he isn’t even recognized as a full mature adult, hell, could he even legally get a driver’s license then? He apologized and everyone kept it moving.
