The whole force is nothing but a Repulso/Accio spell, something Harry learned when he was 14 and that most Wizards can protect themselves against.
Voldy just has to think Protego and that renders all Palpatine force and lightning ability useless as fukk.

Nah, but Plagueis’ ultimate goal was to become co-chancellor with Palp. Never did he envision turning the whole galaxy into an empire, which was solely because of Palpatine’s maneuvering. Also, Plagueis spent like 30 years studying midichlorians to achieve immortality and use the Force to create life (Anakin) while Palpatine ALONE was taking care of political business, with no help.

Btw Voldy representation in the movies from 4th to 8th was meh.
They should have sticked with the look they gave him in the first one. He was way scarier and closer to the books feelings, and that reveal scene is classic.
