was percee out before rakim?
Nah...Let The homicides begin was his first single in 88.

Dude has had weird career when it comes to releasing shyt. He stretched out a gang of singles. 88 then 92 then 96. He didn't release an album until 2007. I wish we could have gotten a Percee P album in the late 80s/early 90s over 45 king, Jazzy Jay, Premo, Diamond D and Showbiz production:banderas:

Jeru's got one very good album and that's it pretty much. Big Daddy Kane is a legend with multiple classic songs. Kane's a rapper's rapper.

thats how i feel about alot of these boom-bappity niccas. drop one or 2 very good albums and people act like they dropped some untouchable classics.

they get preferential treatment by alot of people. but they gotta earn their ranks with me tho.
