voter suppression is real, and it disgusts me

you know what, you're right. that was a derailment. but wisconsin isnt the best example because what i said, was not untrue :yeshrug:

i dont know what you're doing the other 364 days a year if you don't have a state ID. election day is not a surprise, it doesnt sneak up on anyone

the repubs do pull some :scusthov: shyt though

I mean the election was everywhere. You couldn't miss it, if you really were that passionate about it you would take the bus and go where you needed to go to get your ID and pay your local DMV the 20-30 bucks to get your picture taken one day out of the year.

I'm sure with anything else of passion they have made a much stronger effort, I just don't buy that thousands of people who weren't motivated or passionate enough to get an ID would stand in line on election day. Maybe 10% of those people who didn't have an ID already would muster up the effort to go and vote, but it wouldn't have made a difference at all if the voter id laws weren't in place.

It all comes off as sour grapes to me

Democrats also don't want to have one universal voter ID because it would take away illegal aliens and felons chance at voting, and I don't think that is done in large enough numbers to make a difference either except for local elections in big liberal cities where republicans never had a shot to begin with

since it doesn't make a difference one way or the other, you're okay with scrapping all voter id laws....? i mean, if it doesn't make a difference, no need for extra useless laws, right... small government and all that, yadi, yadi, etc, etc....

You are ignorant and come off as one of those people that posts guns in your Facebook picture and claim that "antifa don't know what they are up against, save the white culture". Textbook Remy from "Higher Learning". You have obvious passive aggressive, inherently racist tendencies, and are no doubt getting your talking points from Brietbart, Fox News, and The Daily Caller. One of those people that "disavow" Nazi's, but then do the mental gymnastics to make false equivalency to compare Antifa to Nazi's, say kneelers are unpatriotic, claim this sub-forum is an echo chamber and then go over to T_D and shytpost memes, dismiss the collusion or claim that TrumpRussia is a witch hunt, while adamantly claiming the UraniumOne "scandal" is "the happening", think that 3 million illegals voted in the election, and that voter fraud "is the biggest problem" while the voter suppression commission headed up by Kobach and his child pornography crew have yet to provide any proof at all that it is an issue at all, want to send all immigrants back to their country while at the same time having a family tree though having a clear lack of branches, shows that your family immigrated here at some point, are on a message board founded on the basis of promoting hip hop culture all the while trying to whitewash the culture and disregard the impact that police brutality, systemic racism, and coded white supremacy have on minorities in this country. You live in a bubble, and try to speak from a soap box, dismissing anything that doesn't fit your narrative, because you feel absolutely no effect from any of these issues, because if you did, you wouldn't be talking about voter suppression like it's the people affected by it's fault.
Hope you get over your "economic anxiety", maybe it turned you temporarily into a piece of shyt, maybe those corporate tax cuts will medicate you.

People who cant afford a car often cant afford to take the time off from work to get a license. That doesnt mean they shouldnt be able to vote.

Also numerous republicans have been caught saying voter suppression is one of their key tools so are you saying this isnt the case?

More examples:

Republicans keep admitting that voter ID helps them win, for some reason

'The Law Is Going To Kick the Democrats In the Butt.'

I didn't ahve a valid ID for a good 2-3 years in college because I didn't have a car and didn't need one.
