It’s not hard. It’s just depressing cause deep down I really don’t want to vote for them and their “promises” but it’s either that or the racist alternative. We gave Obama a hard time, but it’s looking like that was the best we are going to get.

I would argue that most of you complaining have never actually voted. You instead just showed up at the voting booth and checked the box everyone else said to check. Honestly, I'm guilty of that. If you're keeping it 100, you should be able to admit that you did/do too.

Voting as I've learned too late is not a passive activity. It's very active and engaging activity. We need to do more research and make more explicit demands. We need to put up our own candidates. We need to learn and work the system.

Frankly, collectively we haven't done that. And this is where it has gotten us.
