I agree but to some extent. We all know that whites did benefit from socialism back in the late 1880s and early 1900s when thw government created the headright program or something like that and gave each white person money and land. Around 80 million white americans benefit from it today as decendants. Socialism can work to a certain extent but not full on until the system of capitalism collapses.

True, but I think we can have a little of both with Democratic-Socialism. We want it where the economy can thrive. Economists have said the same thing also.

Socialism can only work on a small scale. It would be disasterous implemented nationally. People gravitate towards this ideology because its tenets sound good on paper. But as said earlier, anyone with a fundamental understanding of economics knows that this can't function properly. Nothing in this world is 'free'. It has to come from somewhere, produced by somebody.

i can see it working ..if we keep the capitlistic system but families and small groups practice group economics ....i think this could save the black community...if small like minded groups get together.....because no way bring a large group of us together would ever work

It worked up until the end of Jim Crow. Then socialism became the devil.

Free college? yes during white supremacy.
Free medical? Sure, for old whites
Free land? Sure for free settlers.
Free mortgages? Sure in exclusively white government housing programs.
The right to unionize? Sure, so long as Jim crow is around...oh wait, the second it ended, Unions became taboo.

So long as the majority receives exclusive benefits to socialist programs, they will want it. The second they see minority populations getting the benefits, they feel it is cheating.
