Pretty much allows an auto-refill on your amazon balance. I actually think it's a great tool for those who complain about buying consoles.

example if you want the XBOX One S, you just set it to auto-refill $29 a week and you will have enough to buy the 500GB model on day 1.
:ohhh: I didn't know this existed :dwillhuh:

I hope the Canadian amazon does this immature check it out since I wanted to start paying off my pre orders

Yeah I can't imagine why not. I was still at amazon when we were working on this feature. I have done it several times myself. My PS VR will be paid in full on release date with little to no effect on my end. $19 a week since I pre-ordered in March. Whenever I log into Amazon I just apply my balance to the open order and keep it moving.

Don't feel the effect while it finally comes out and hopefully clean up with a $800+ eBay sale in October :win:

For the people bytching about Scorpio....you have damn near 18 months to buy it. I am assuming that it will cost $500-$600. That only amounts to about $9 a week after taxes if you just start saving towards it.

Just asked the customer service..

The only option to make a payment to the pre order is to order an amazon gift card and apply the gift card balance to your preorder because if you use a credit or debit card it will only be charged once the order is shipped whereas if you use a gift card it will be debited from your account right away.

Canadian amazon sucks.

I'm logging into amazon canada now. They don't let you buy amazon gift cards automatically? What kind of nonsense is this?

You don't have to enter gift card numbers or anything else. It will just add it to your available balance and then apply it to any open order as you please.

Here is the link:

Im confused. So auto reload is just money in my amazon account basically which I can set up through there. But the only way I can put money towards a pre order is buying their gift cards?

Technically it's not gift cards you have to manage, you are just reloading your balance and then using it as you please. It's not as clean as it can be, but it's a step in the right direction. I like the automation of it all and then going into your open orders to apply the balance as you see fit.

Might not make much sense for small orders, but if you tend to have a lot of pre-orders it might be worth looking into.

Alright I'm gonna give this a try and see if it works for me.
