Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high

this is a good song. when i heard it, i was like :leon:

then the chorus comes on, and he says let me fukk you back to sleep:childplease:

why not come up with something better? it's just cursing for no reason. Brown has a lot of songs that would be good withoutthat shyt. Same with Bryson Tiller cursing up a storm. Why?

I dapped you the day you made the thread and I'm repping you today. This is still true.

LOL I'm just imagining a bunch of Freddie Jackson and Luther Vandross tracks talking about beating the p*ssy up..

Hip Hop killed R&B
R&B be sounding like rap nowadays

I've felt that way for awhile...I remember even in the late 90s hearing someone say "Too many R&B singers want to be rappers and vice versa" and feeling it was true.

R&B has been vulgar or more overt sexually for quite some time but I think more so over the last 20 or so years

Crazy how this came out 14 years ago and applies more than ever now

R and B took it's passport and relocated to South Korea.

It's so sad that a genre responsible for bringing love, good vibes, and cured regrets would end up being a mess of it's former self.

While there are some artists like KING, Eric Roberson, Foreign Exchange, SiR, and a few others still trying to keep it alive, it's never going back to the good ole days unless a miracle happens.

Yeah, and as more of this happens, more ratchedness becomes normalized.
