kingston is the city portion, it would be like going to dominican republic tourists dont really stay in santo domingo but puerto plata, punta cana

I don't know much about this story if at all. I just had a simple question for those that have been following......
Why is he getting life for 1 murder? Is murder a life sentence in Jamaica? What happened 15 to 20?

Any murder is mandatory life, with a minimum of 15 years before an prisoner can be eligable to be paroled.
In this case Kartel has to serve a minimum of 35 Years...none of them got the bare minimum, the lowest handed down was 25 Years before Parole.
Even then parole isnt guranteed.

Supposed to be quite a few. And tbh vybz and his lawyers are delusional. Even on appeal he is going to be in the prison system for a while. Appeals take at least 2 yrs due to back log to come up. If he touches road under 15 yrs I would be surprised but hey it is jamdown

Yeah you right. The judge was harsh on them due to the premeditation and gruesome nature of death plus no repentance

Nah Gazas a community, that Kartel ran.
But you could say key members of the Gaza got jailed, such as Kartel and Shawn storm, who according to kartels voice notes "governed" a gun running operation it seems.
Wonder who will step up and take over the Gaza now.
No doubt he'll still have some influence from his prison cell, which is kinda clear still right now considering there has been fire bombings of police witnesses and money on the witnesses heads.
Tbh I dont think he'll beat it, espeically with his upcoming pervert the course of justice case. Its not looking good, since it was members of his own crew who filed that police report and the person who claimed robbed her is the same person who hes been found guilty of murder. They say he organised the plan from jail. If he gets guilty then it wont bode well for his appeal and may even get it rejected...
But yep hes going to spend a while.
Best he could do is appeal his sentence as opposed to an appeal for a retrial.
