Come catch this fade.
Come catch this reality. This dropped in 93 when hip hop was dramatically shifting in sound and lyrical content.

I was raised on reality rap. That shyt was considered to be bullshyt. But you clearly are forgetting the topic. I considered it to be dope REGARDLESS. You stupid fukk.

LOL i'm fukkin with you man.
As a nikka who was raised on G-funk and "reality rap" I LOVED that song and nobody I knew considered it wack.
Maybe it's the internet. Or a sign of the times.
But we all weren't raised the same back then. There was no internet. There was no real universal consensus.
I didn't hear a full Tribe album until I was in college. I hated everything NY (except LL) before 95 when I was an actual toddler.
I was raised on Death Row/NWA, Bay Area, Bone, and Scarface.
Sometimes I think ya'll forget that the 90s was different in that way.
