Mac was a 2Pac knockoff. Yeah he was talented but he WAS the B list. A list is
P
Silkk
C
Mia X
Mystikal
Snoop
then EVERYONE else :yeshrug:

He was no Pac knock off. Stop it fam.

It was obvious from jump he was more talented as an emcee than anyone else on the label (I don't count Snoop).

He got locked up before his second album popped off, so he never ended up getting his shine, but those in the know would never call him B list.

he definitely was a Pac styled MC...hell you can tell that He fashioned Shell Shocked DIRECTLY like a Pac MATW/AEOM album...I do agree that Mac might have been one of the better TRUE emcee's on NL but he was still B list :yeshrug:
It's definitely not a classic breh. Throw a poll up and let theColi decide..
the Coli is full of Young Thug/Drake/Playboi Carti etc...fans. Most of these cats wouldn't know a damn classic if it slapped the shyt out of them :martin:

That was P breh. P was trying to make Pac's sound the No Limit sound. Can't fault Mac for that.

Nah, it's cats from all eras on here.

The youngins just make the most noise because they're trying to get nikkas to respect these lil dipshyt rappers coming out today.

To be real, they may your best bet to get some votes for it being a classic though. Anybody actually from the era would probably say it was a weed plate. That production was :scust:

So you REALLY believe Mac had NO input on how His album was suppose to sound :martin:
and I'm FROM that era...I have NEVER heard anybody from around my way, and I been from Detroit to all over the East Coast to down south, call SFMN'z a weed plate :beli:

Um.....NO. P ran No Limit with an iron fist.

I'm from VA so I caught music from all regions growing up.

Joined the Navy, went to San Diego in '97 and was there until '01. I was around cats from L.A., N.O., the Chi, the Bay, NY, and all over the South.

We had nothing but deep, heated hip hop conversations and I've never heard not one single person call that album a classic.

Not even the most hard core Pac fans. nikkas that would literally swing on you for disrespecting him.

Nobody.

Ironically I was in the Navy when it came out and it was the exact opposite :yeshrug:

I was a freshman in HS when it came out and that shyt was not discussed at all in my circles. We all loved the singles from the album, and Breed's Gotta Get Mine was like the anthem for the whole school (one of my favorite memories from that time was my whole bus breaking out into an impromptu acapella performance of Pac's verse :wow:), so Pac got nothing but love, but as far as that album was concerned, it got no play or mentions. Very forgettable album.
