Actually it's the opposite. People here call EVERYTHING a classic. People were saying that Cam'ron had 3 classics. :mjlol:

Yeah I have to agree with this. Every popular rapper on The Coli has at least 1 if not 2 classics or more.

Drake has 2 classics. Eminem has 3 classics. Cam'ron had 3 classics.

I actually agree :ehh:

Mac was definitely a better rapper than pac was in 92 and arguably overall :ld:

The production was definitely better :manny:

Mac was like a down south nas mixed with pac on the lowest of low keys

The no limit brand and hype over shadowed alot of really good albums & talented emcees. :francis:

Um.....NO. P ran No Limit with an iron fist.

I'm from VA so I caught music from all regions growing up.

Joined the Navy, went to San Diego in '97 and was there until '01. I was around cats from L.A., N.O., the Chi, the Bay, NY, and all over the South.

We had nothing but deep, heated hip hop conversations and I've never heard not one single person call that album a classic.

Not even the most hard core Pac fans. nikkas that would literally swing on you for disrespecting him.

Nobody.

They were bandwagon Pac is in trouble fans, tho.

They probably did not listen to Pac before he gained pr.
I know so cause when I listened to Pac no one did.
When Pac started his bullshyt antics and I stopped listening to him cause he was starting issues, actually.
The floodgates on his stans began and kept increasing and it was never about actual music.
So this whole Pac was this or that, I know is fraudulent cause I been dissecting and destroying Pac clone war fans exclusively since 95 in real time and 97 online.

nikkaz did not used to listen to Pac like that and most pac fans are bandwagoners.

Mac had a similar style to pac tho

All of no limit was patterned off biting pac.
It is a bunch of fake spewing nikkaz in here not admitting the real.
if they not being honest about nl's whole direction post pac being about biting pac.
Kwazy and c murder are as great a pac biter as you can get all time.

During the time when Pac got shot up the second time, I wasn't the biggest Pac fan.

I was in the camp of folks that felt he deserved it because of all the bullshyt he started, like most East Coast nikkas at the time.

I never expected him to die though. But then he did.

As time went on, and I sat down with the Machaveli album, I gained a newfound appreciation for duke.

He wasn't the most lyrical out of the rappers at the time, and he did start more problems than he solved, but I began to understand where his heart was at, and that album renewed the appreciation for him that I had back in the early 90's.

As time went on, I began to miss him because I watched how the game began to change, and I realized just how much things would be different if he was still around.

He may not have always made the best music, or made the best decisions, but his passion and ethics have been sorely missed in hip-hop since he passed.

Jay-Z would've never been able to come in, and shift the moral code of hip-hop like he did, if Pac would've been around during that time.

For that reason alone, I appreciate, respect, and miss him.
