Curry is vastly better than Thompson. The Warriors were a shytstorm too. He also missed almost one of the entire seasons before they made it. By no metric is he better than curry. He scores less, rebounds less, shoots worse, defends worse, can't run an offense, and is made of glass. His career high in assists is 2.5 worse per game, his career high in scoring is 9 points per game worse. Irving ain't the guy drawing double teams at half court. Nobody should be taking you seriously if you're arguing this.

So curry wasnt injured before too right? So curry wasnt getting exposed on defense either right? Curry scores more when he can free lance on defense. Thompson and Green showed up more when curry was off their impact means a lot more. And i suggest you go read up cle was so bad players were quitting on mike brown. Im not aguring whether kyrie is a leader because he isnt he needs someone like bron to take major defensive focus off him

Irving has one all NBA third team nomination. Curry has a pair of MVP awards. Trying to use curry's success as an indictment against him and a means of propping up Irving is like watching Kobe stans using LeBron's shot selection as an indictment against him and Kobe's shot selection as a means of propping him up. Any general manager who would pick Irving over curry would be losing their job in fairly short time. The fact that you'll get on curry for his defense while ignoring how Irving is a turnstile on defense is laughable, and I'm not gonna waste any more time even entertaining such a stupid notion as Irving being better than curry, because that'd mean he's better than Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook too.

Kyrie did do it without all the fouls being called so I feel where the OP is coming from. Plus he was clutch and hit buckets and the most opportune of times. Wade's performance may be better but it's not a landslide like cats are trying to make it out to be.
