if he was kind of freestyling it and in the ring as opposed to the ultra-scripted podium bullshyt, he might be able to get something like that over. Jericho could come out and do good news/bad news and have the crowd going...

if they dont figure something good out for him though then its basically a wrap...shame. he has the look. the VOICE...he's got most, if not all, of what they are looking for.

I remember that episode of Raw, to this day I still say that scene is how the episode should have ended: Cena walking away sad after officially losing his job planning to earn his job back on the next season of NXT as his masked mexican cousin "Juan Cena" while Barrett gloats in the far distance planning a hostile takeover of the WWE and everything fades to black... but instead we had Cena run back into the building 30 minutes later to beat up the entire Nexus single handedly

Low ratings or not that angle was teased and killed cause coke boy said they couldnt draw without cena qhich is stupid cause he didnt even take a chance by letting juan run back in

*Had Michael Cole and Miz of all people constantly berate him saying he ain't shyt
*Fired for that tie incident
*Won MITB but had him on a losing streak
*That Sheamus Wrestlemania 18 second match debacle
*Thrown him in a ramdom ass tag team with Kane on some stupid Charlie Sheen storyline
*Let him win the WWE Title twice only to immediately strip him of the belt both times in some kind of way

Bryan Danielson rise above all of that adversity and became a GOATFace Killa

Bryan can be killed, but then comes back to life in the weirdest gimmick... because he can do so.

It is his fault, he wasn't that good.

He rode on the NXT shyt, it carried him and he never made an impression since then. The last entertaining thing he did was get chairs piled on him by Cena. Every other NXT member has been more memorable since then

no,...he was a victim of the wwe really never knowing how to book main even level villains, consistently.
when they had cena destroy him and drop the chairs on him...
he was doomed to never recover.
before that,...he could have legit been wwe champ instead of the miz, and would have worked much better given the content of the angle.

agreed,....
even on the cena in nxt, thing.
which could have launched nxt, as a real quality tv show, from its inception.
that had a real draw.
instead of trying to swag on tna.
after nxt failed on network tv.
to finally, resurface as an online series.
while actually being a higher quality product, than the real wwe programming.

realistically,....
the wwe branded him a non-draw when they buried him with the chair drop finish.

he was never going to return as a draw after that.
wwe has always really never known how to actually book or prosper from their heels.
they have dropped the ball, on elevating great heels since, don muraco.
