Heat will offer him something like 3 years 8 million to save cap space
Isn't he 34? Correct me if im wrong but wont that year 3 salary (over age of 36) will be applied to year 1 and 2 for cap space?

What does that have to do with 3 stars all cutting their salaries down even further then before? We gonna act like the Bulls dint bring in Rodman and Bryan Williams (top 10 PF in the L at the time) as a free agent for a year either![]()
Man look I don't work for the PA lol. I'm just saying what Ive heard others with better understanding than me on this subject are saying and I agree with them since it would f it up for other lesser players. That same players association allowed max salaries to be instituted and bird rights to be limited which are the biggest culprits for all of this.
Phase 3 in progress
Phase 1: James opt out
Phase 2: Napier
Phase 3: Haslem, Bosh and Wade opt outs
Phase 4: ????
If melo does that he's a fukkin idiot. I'm getting that 130 and I'll try to get a chip after.
Nah, its even more reason why the cap should be increased to allow the players to play wherever they want to playThis and like others have said before how would the players association take that a star taking that big of a pay cut. Wouldn't that hurt the money of other players and don't think that's what the PA wants but maybe me and others could be wrong. That's why I don't think dude going to Chicago either unless its a S&T or they clear more cap room
Back then there was no player max salary or luxury tax for owners to care about. What does that have to do with 3 stars all cutting their salaries down even further then before?

I know I'm just posting what people would post to give them an excuseSwept in 5 games. That one game they won was on a game winner at home
These niccas are going to single handily try to destroy the NBA
Not that I blame these bytch made superstars, they're doing to the league what the owners done to them with the hard cap
The nba does not have a hard cap, that's the problem
We need a hard cap with no max salary
Even it's 100 mill I'm still taking that over 55Knicks won't offer him that though...Phil wants to convince melo to pull a bron and take a lesser deal so they can sign talent
Damn these nba nikkas aint loyal.... I would love to play in miami. how much was they paying this dude before he opted out?
