Exactly, to be honest the only dude losing in terms of his contract will be Lebron who deserves to be a max player and hasn't been since he arrived in Miami. He really deserves more than the max but that's another thread.

bosh and wade can collect 20 mil next season

they are definitely "losing" financially by opting out
When the Heat players take less they're ''c00ns''. (lets ignore the fact these guys have endorsements)

But when Duncan and the other spurs player don't sign huge deals they're ''loyal'' and ''competitors''. (even though they played in a smaller market with really no endorsements)

Yeah ok. But Spurs = 2014-2016 title lock.

Who said Duncan wasn't a c00n?

@madness lost

all that to hopefully sign Kyle Lowry so Bron can destroy his career, make him play out of position like he did to Bosh. Gonna turn Lowry into Charlie Bell. :laff:

Things like what's going on in Miami is the reason you CAN'T criticize what's going on in Philly. Its the only true way to combat colluding. Build from within. Get great players in the draft and play the long game when it comes to winning at a high level.

Better question is why you ducking my other post. As a tobe fan you got a lot of nerve calling someone a c00n seeing as your idol hasn't had too many pro-black moments in his career.

and once those young players Philly are in their prime and ready to hit free agency, guess what team they'll end up taking paycuts to sign with?:troll:

They are an Anomaly. They got the Cavaliers treatment in 1997. Drafting one of the top 5 player of all time

Once Duncan is gone the Spurs will be a worthless franchise.

I don't think so. The Spurs have been a competitive team going back to the ABA days.

They're an organization that rarely is in the draft lottery. Always are in playoff contention. From Gervin to Robinson to Duncan...

Plus, they have the best scouting department in the NBA. They will find guys who know how to play the game and develop them accordingly.

Duncan signed a 7 year $122 million deal when he won his 2nd MVP in 2003. He made max money up until 2011-2012... while Ginobili and Parker never got max deals but were paid handsomly. They had some old teams when all 3 of those guys were young and/or in their primes with Parker being the one on the edge out of his prime at this point.

The Heat stars have made their cash and are doing the similar thing. LeBron being the youngest of the big 3 will get the biggest deal. And the other two will take slight cuts but still be paid well.

Both teams are in state's with no income tax.

Pat Riley and the Heat's scouting department will now be the one's put on notice in how they round out this roster with younger talent around their stars and whatever free agents they get. And how they develop them. They love the Ennis kid... Norris Cole has seemingly regressed though, so we'll see how Napier does.

So question, do you have a problem with all players taking paycuts or do you only have a problem because they're taking paycuts to play for Miami? Be honest.

The Heat are the only team I can ever remember that had so many fans being pissed off about because they chose winning over money. Every other team gets praised for it, the Heat get bashed for it. And there's a 99.9% chance that if all these players took paycuts to play for any of their favorite teams, they would be loving it.
