GOD forbid some brothers make choices for themselves. If it's all-white, it's alright. - Chris RockFrom what I've gathered about super teams...
It's "ok" if the team assembles them. It's "not ok" if the players decide to team up. Even though the end result is the same.

I'd bring him back on a one year contract.Blazers could use a backup center![]()
Them same nikkas who dream of their downfall? FOH!Of course they were gonna opt-out; it only makes them FAs. The hard part is agreeing to a contract. The only question mark was Wade. Now that he's opted out, he's gonna take less to stay in Miami.
I wish people would stop saying "guaranteed money". It's the NBA; all of the contracts are guaranteed. It seems like they have been wording the contracts differently since last CBA, but in the past they rarely ever counted the "PO/TO" year. Another thing is that ish like this really pisses off the PA and the vets. You are eliminating all of the vets bargaining power, and making it harder for the non-5 superstars to really get put in good contractual situations. The PA are not happy about this, guaranteed. Neither will the other small market teams.
Now lets look at this realistically...Haslem signs for 3M, that leaves 52 for the other 3 which is 17 per. If they go for an average of 14M, you really think their help wants 10M? And what about the rest of the roster?
The salary cap isn't there to help the owners. Anyone who owns a sports franchise, it is supplement income. Believe that. However, the salary was instituted to not have all the talent going to one team because they believed nikkas were too selfish and greedy to even consider less money than what another would pay them.I'm all for no salary cap. Not because of wanting LeBron to have better teammates but in general I don't like the idea of players having to take paycuts so in the end they can make billionaire owners more money and MAYBE get a gold ring in return as if it makes up for the millions they lost.
Coaches & GM's never have to take paycuts because they don't have a salary cap. Players don't get that same respect. And watch when the next CBA discussions come up, these same cac billionaire owners will try to get even more salary cap limitations added.
At a 65% discount? He can make $54 Million over 4 years assuming the big 3 take paycuts of at least $5-6 million per year each (BTW slightly less than a third of an already discounted contract they signed in 2010). Knicks can offer him $130 Million for 5 years, the Heat don't have any assets that they can trade to NY for a sign and trade. I don't care how much money you have and how thirsty for a championship you are but that just doesn't make sense to me.
He likes Miami.why Bosh would opt out and take a pay cut idk. Another team would give him the max right now. fukk winning, he's already got two rings. More money nikka.
Whatever it takes to buy more championships
fukk outta here with this bogus team of desperate players![]()
Ok cool. But my thing is if Melo signs with them and they win a ring or two doesn't that look less glamorous in the fans eyes? You needed to team up with 3 other superstars to win? Why not go somewhere grind it out and win? Nikkas want the quick easy way out for a ring just so their "legacy" is solid.
NoI thought opting out was putting yourself on the free agent market meaning you wanted to play somewhere else...
these nikkas are a disgrace to employees everywhere![]()
fukk dying and coming back as a some superstar player/product.
Make me an owner Black Wavy Jesus.
Lmao at these players. I have no respect for their organization methods. Just play ball slaves.
