It's hard. The law typically recognizes that the woman gave up her career to take care of the home and has to be compensated after a divorce even if she is not taking care of the kids and is out fukking other guys
I remember people were impressed Tom Cruise got out of paying spousal support because of his prenup but in their case, she is also very wealthy AND he's paying 400k a year in child support

I can't figure that out either. If he's making 40 million a year and he's paying like 400k a year in spousal support, that works out to 1% of his earnings. For the average 50k/year person, 1% would be 500 a year or about 40 dollars a month.
