I can't figure that out either. If he's making 40 million a year and he's paying like 400k a year in spousal support, that works out to 1% of his earnings. For the average 50k/year person, 1% would be 500 a year or about 40 dollars a month.

Actually, that statement is pretty relevant. She married him young, had his children, and helped advance his professional career in the eyes of the court. Wade's money isn't inherited, but earned jointly during their marriage i.e. community property. He can delay it all he wants, but most courts are going to make him pay, and pay big. IMO wade is pissed more then anyone here. But he has a reputation and going in on his kids moms is not a good look. Besides Coli Men are hurt and fragile.
