He makes dope R&B songs and is a gifted songwriter in that lane how is he wasting his time? Take Care is an 8-8.5 out of 10 album, no way in hell is Joey's album better. Drake's first two mixtapes and So Far Gone are also over 3.5 Mics. Joey hasn't made a memorable project since 1999 and his flow and voice have regressed as he's gotten older.
Drake doesn't have an album over 3.5 mics. His last one was a weed plate too. Damn shame really, he's talented to me, but he's wasting his time singing.

Nah. This ain't my thread. I've said in two posts that Currensy is better than 50% of rappers but Drake ain't one of them. On some real shyt though being a fukkin weed head is disturbing. I judge Drake's rapping from his raps. I don't take away points when he sings. I just don't listen to those songs. I make a playlist of only his raps and that's who Drake is to me.

I don't respect him as an emcee because he comes off as an actor playing the role, flow and all. His lyrics are more genuine than his style but that's not what this thread is about. Not only that he's bitten entire verses from rappers without giving them any credit. What part of the game is that?

What qualities does Curren$y have over Drake? He's not seeing him on the mic in any department catalog to catalog he cannot outrap Drake. He's not half the artist Drake is, Spitta keeps it safe and has been making the same music over and over. A casual listener wouldn't be able to tell any of the Pilot Talk albums apart while you can see influences, evolution and a new dynamic and aesthethic within every Drake project.
I love Covert Coup but the shyt is like 30 minutes long dawg...
