lol the only thing drake and spitta got in common was they were both in YM. Im not a drake fan but i could see how the occasional rap listener would prefer drake over Spitta, but when it comes to real hiphop heads i think they would choose Curren$y. Im saying this cuz drake is like a jack of all trades but master of known. Hes more popular but his raps are more cookiecutter. While Curren$y has his own style and flow which makes him stand out and that can also be the thing that makes people not wanta listen to his music he might not make good party music but hes definitely original with his flow and subject matter.

If Currensy fans want to ride the "real hip hop" lane you gotta show me lyrics. The nikka says a whole lot of nothing. He has no punchlines, no metaphors, no story telling. It sounds like he smokes weed all day. His songs are all melancholy and lazy. Some of it is smooth and jazzy and I dig it but at this point in your career you're not gonna get better. I didn't listen every Currensy song. He's doesn't warrant that much attention

Nobody has heard of Gibbs. That's a fact. For the record, every artist is in their own lane. Every artist is different. AZ and Nas are in different lanes. Meek mill and Rick Ross are in different lanes. Currensy attracts depressed hipsters. I like Currensy though but he's average. Drake is dope but he's corny and suspect some times but Drake managed to overshadow his boss Wayne in less than 3 years. That's fukkin impressive

If you don't have a hands down classic song after 25 albums you're a fukkin bum. You should have at least one classic album. He got one? Currensy is cool. I really have no hate. He should've stayed at Young Money though. He's not good enough to be on his own. But I'm from the golden era of hip hop. Once you eat Lobster you can't go back to noodles.
Rappers are stupid. Wiz, Currensy, Stalley, and Joey Badass should form a group. I get the appeal of Currensy though. It's the vibe he's selling through his laid back beats but he has no versatility. Drake is the most versatile rapper I've seen.
