sure.

Simply put, Drake has better beats and a better flow. Those two things make up 95% of what makes a song dope.

If you were to do a survey among serious hip hop listeners, I bet you most would prefer Drake in the beat and flow department over Currensy.

FIN

Better flow though?:patrice:

way better.

you really think Currensy's voice can compete with Drake's? seriously?

Aside from that, Drake KILLS Currensy in the cadence and rhythm department. Those two things together = flow

If we're going off of just voice, then yeah. I hate drake's voice, I said that in the other thread. He's got that weird monotone whiny flow that sounds like shyt.
Cadence, okay, maybe, I think that's just preference.
Rhythm? What substantial rhythms has Drake used that shows he's superior to Spitta?

I don't like Drake's voice either. But it's certainly better than Spitta's.
And besides, this question was talking about not just one person's preference, but "people" according to OP. Is it really hard to imagine why most people, including hip hop fans, prefer Drake's voice to Spitta's?

Rhythm in this case is just how you ride the beat. Drake doesn't have a ton of rhythm, but his beat selection demolishes Spitta's. And Drake rides his beats e.g. 0-100 decently. He's almost never offbeat, especially on his big songs. Can't say the same about Spitta. That dude is almost always offbeat like a fukk.

I mean, that's just opinion though. I can get where you're coming from. Drake definitely has a lot more mainstream appeal, and maybe even better packaged music. But for a hip hop fan? Idk man. Like if legitimately LOVE hip-hop, I have no idea how you could prefer Drake over Spitta (this is a hypothetical, not you or me). And beat selection? That's a case-by-case, you'd probably never hear spitta on a beat like 0-100 because that's just not his sound. Drake's a chameleon. He's so generic he can hop on tons of different beats and it'll sound decent. Spitta might be off beat, but dude's a vet. He knows what he's doing. DOOM is offbeat but a lot of people consider him on of the best to ever do it. Drake is just hip-hop tofu.

I respect that, breh.
