Yeah, it does mean something. It means Currensy is not relevant. He's not relevant because Drake is doing well. He's not relevant because he's a C list rapper. Kanye wanting to do a song with him does say something. But that's not true. Dame wants to pressure Kanye into a collabo with Currensy to boost Currensys profile. Currensy is in contracts with Dame. And let's not forget Kanye has not done the song. Your analysis draws a depressing conclusion for Currensy. According to you he's making better music than Drake but has absolutely no success compared to Drake. So basically Currensy has nothing to look forward to. This is as good as it gets for him

Nas is making better music than jay and has been for years...jay is more successful but at the end of the day who really cares..and how does that relate to the music?lol dudes aren't putting money in my pocket so their success means nothing currensy seems comfortable to me..comfy enough I'm going to his shows and every time I go there I can expect new songs performed in addition to old ones...and Kanye thing was before he even got with dame again..and currensy is a c list celebrity b rapper..drake an a/b list celebrity and an average c list rapper/artist/r&b singer...and you never know what can happen in rap nowadays lol they pushed 2 chainz at one point and he's very average..just a real funny rapper

One of the most underrated aspects of being a great rapper/musician is being charismatic. Underground rappers stay underground because they lack charisma--period. Rappers make it into the mainstream because they have charismatic deliveries and are fun to listen to.

Wanna make it as a rapper? Your lyrics gotta be relatable, your delivery has to be easy on the ears, and you gotta be charismatic. Period. Most underground rappers lack charisma--and that's why they stay underground.
This guy gets it.

Like take the track like 0 to 100. Pretty much every line on that track is a quotable and fun to rap. At a concert the whole crowd would know every single line. A lot of the stuff Drake comes up with "sticks". YOLO, 0 to 100, etc. How many times you see "Steph Curry with the shot Chef Curry with the pot boy" in threads during the NBA finals. Drake is that dude. Like he says in the same song : "damn nikka what more quote for us?". Dudes got quotables for days.

I don't care about public opinion or popularity. That goes both ways though. A lot of people discount Drake cause he's on top. That's my point though. Im not arguing Drake makes better songs. I'm arguing he's an all around better rapper. If you put Drake on any Currensy track he'll embarrass Currensy. I guarantee. Honestly bro, Currensy just irritates me because he's a fake lyricist. To the amateur ear he sounds like he's saying something. I listen to every single word when I listen to a rap song. People just assume they don't understand what he's saying and dismiss it as their fault but really the nikka not spittin, he just rambling. If you like Currensy then that's all that matters. Currensy has cool beats though

Stop it nikka. Don't act like Drake is watered down and Currensy is some lyrical heavyweight. You sad sad nikkaz are really trying to downplay Drake's talent. There's a word for it; it's called hating. People know every line because they like it. Nobody knows what the fukk Currensy is talking about besides weed . . . and I wish I had a nickel for every time Currensy said " nikka ". He's fukkin corny but he's better than a lot of people. Currensy is better that 50% of the rappers, however, Drake is not one of them.

Lol. You pivoted off a hater so you implicitly cosigned. Dude was trying to make the Nas Jay argument as if Currensy is underrated. Honestly, contempt is not my underlying emotion with Currensy. It's fukkin disappointment. The same disappointment I had with Cassidy ten years ago. The game is fickle but these rappers are not taking it to that next level. Currensy doesn't rap like he wants to be called the King of Hip Hop. He raps like he just smoked a blunt and thought he said something deep when he didn't. Meth, Red and Jay Z were all equal peers in the 90s. One of them is damn near a billionaire and the two other still smoke weed everyday. Put it together

I never gave Currensy a chance, but he went from a member of the revamped 504 Boyz to a young money test dummy to actually carving out his own lil lane..

:mjlol:

Where's old boy who called Drake fake? Lol. How you explain Currensy thinking he was a hot boy?

drake does numbers ill give him that...lol but he shows up sometimes not all the time....i listened to 4 songs off the last album only because i like the beat..the bars are weak...but thats what gets you numbers these days his lyrics are accessible currensys isnt unless you a sneaker head/car enthusiast/street fashion type person...or you really out here hustling making it do what it do.

3rd verse of success is my cologne...if you arent into jordans you not gonna know what he talking about when he mentions that part...and look at people who like jordans now lol they like them just to like them and be a hypebeast...thats when drakes comes in he appeals to those type people...who fraud and just want to be part of something

drake reaches way more people than currensy hes easily accessible....is that spitta fault?maybe it is but most of drakes accessibility comes from his fans being followers.
