It's nothing to be upset about since you don't have to buy it. Why are people acting like Naughty Dog is extorting them?

Some fans will buy it again but this remaster collection is really great for and geared toward brehs that only rocked a 360 last gen and got a PS4 this time around. If you already played the games just ignore it, no skin off your back.

Why waste time doing that when new games can be in production instead?

Man, the amount of times I see this thought posted online irks me.... Bluepoint games AKA the developer PORTING the game is the one handling this, NOT NAUGHTY DOG. This goes for pretty much 95% of remastered games aka they're not the main priority of a developer.


This is pretty much how remasters are done, they're done by a separate porting team. People saying "Well they should make new games!!" sounds like someone asking a translator to write an original novel.

Hell, you coud basically boil some of these "remasters" down to late ports such as GTA V, Tomb Raider, TLOU, Dark Souls.

Did people call GTA San Andreas for the original Xbox a remastered version??

They don't really make games, they just handle ports... you know to free up the time and resources it'd take devs like Naughty Dog to do so they can make new games... oh wait?? Isn't UC4 being made??

The early problems with the Halo:The MCC probably scared them away from trying to add multiplayer for each game, though I can't remember if the first one even had a multiplayer.

What part of "they pretty much handle ports and remasters" don't you understand?? They don't make AAA games, they've really only made one small indie game a long time ago and they just handle remasters.


They've handled ports/remasters like God of War Collection, PS All Stars Battle ROyale for the Vita, Titanfall for the 360, MGS HD Collection for the 360/PS3/Vita, ICO/SOTC for PS3, and now they're working on Uncharted collection... But expect them to suddenly make an AAA game out of nowhere brehs.

Nobody is wasting time. Naughty Dog is occupied with UC4 and Bluepoint is an independent dev company that focuses on ports (not all studios can thrive making their own games).

I think its a mistake not to include MP.

If youre trying to market this to all the people who missed out on the games originally so you can make them fans to buy uncharted 4 then why not include the surprisingly fun MP for people to play? It would be a huge selling point for uncharted 4.

Do you know expensive it is to make a game? The bluepoint studio is eating well and they are probably the best in the industry at this. Theyre a specialized studio.

Making an original ip is a huge expense and could easily shut their doors.

Look at the studio that was making phantom dust for microsoft on xbox one. Studio had been around for like ten years and the first time they try creating a game it ruins them and they close.

Wouldn't it ramp up costs and take more time to do that? The collection is releasing close to the end of this year and UC4 follows four to five months later. Seems pointless when I think about it especially when buyers get in the UC4 MP beta.
