I knew somebody who graduated from NYU and was working as a cashier at the same time grocery store I was 15 years ago

No suprise.

I did a pre-med summer research program with 3 of them(2 white girls and one Indian dude) not too far from the school at Einstein Hosptial near Pelham Parkway. Two of the Fordham kids i worked with told me they really wanted to be at Columbia and had the money to pay but got rejected and had to find a school that's close enough to prestigious and that's why they ended up at their current school today.


Side note: I see you went to SJU. i heard they had scholorships for minorites, is that true?

The black kids who attend SJU usually come from private schools themselves ( the big three catholic high schools ), but if you’re lower income the church they’re affiliated with ( Vincentian) will hook you up.

That was two years ago as well. It’s now 74,820 to go to NYU, 57,000 to go to SJU, 68,273 for Fordham, Wagner college 58,615, Pace University is at 62,241 and 66,326 for the New School.

I am thankful for my college experience, it has opened so many doors. Looking at these prices, how can anyone say that shyt is worth it?

I can't see why the next generation would ever want to spend that kind of money on a piece of paper. No matter what the discipline is.

lol u goto wonder, whose pockets specifically, are the bulk of these absurd tuition payments going to? i can just imagine them in their mansions, driving their rolls royce, contemplating ways to keep brainwashing the new generation of kids that a "college degree is everything. do whatever you must to get that degree. it'll pay off". and there are some idiot parents out there allowing their kids to fall into this trap. sh1t is actually sad.
