Again, your ridiculously limiting stereotype of the "average person in the hood" that you're trying to force everyone from urban communities into leaves no room for the actual diversity of individuals to be found there...ESPECIALLY from a fairly obvious try-hard contemporary urban hipster like Trinidad James (doing my own stereotyping here), whose entire schtick is made up to a large degree of trying his damnedest to stand out and be seen as "different"...did you honestly see the All Gold Everything video and mistake him as a member of Brick Squad? The very first words out of his mouth in the only song he's known for is a vintage video game reference to Golden Eye on N64...and then goes on to shout various colleges, smartphone social media apps, and hypebeasts...All Gold Everything is hardly Bricks or Make the Trap Say Aye or whatever song better fits into your hood caricature box...outside of the shameful implication that you're shocked somebody from the "hood" can hold a conversation, I don't even see why you'd place him in that space to begin with....
Come on man...I said we need more cats that are different.
The whole video is shot like "Ha" and has him walking the streets w/ cats in Black T's, shooting dice, holding a gun, masked up etc...he put himself in that box.
I understand everyone in the hood isnt the same...but there is a large (unfortunate) sameness amongst black people that you see videos like this perpetuate. He obviously doesnt live that life, but he flashes those visuals.
and it might not be right, but when someone says "nikka nikka nikka just watch me"...well, people are going to assume the worst.
and again...lets all stop pretending the hood is a training ground for scientist. yes there are people that are different. But theres a reason why you dont see gangs shooting each other in neighborhoods that arent considered "the hood".
