He did though. Drake is on the writing credits for all those songs. You think Beyoncé is just going to give drake writing credit for no reason.
You buy shoes at Foot Locker, you pay Foot Locker, but that doesn’t mean Foot Locker made the shoes. They just supplied you. Your transaction is with them. Whatever arrangements they have with the maker of the shoe is none of your business.

If people say “where’d you get your shoes” you will say “Foot Locker”

Did he write-write them or were they ghost written and he got the credits since he was the seller?

:what:

The lengths this board will go to deny drake any credit for anything he ever did is amazing.

Simply amazing. Wow.

Drake writes. 2 things can be true, Drake utilized ghostwriters but he ALSO writes for himself and others.

Iirc, that was right when Drake started getting real buzz.
Song dropped in '09, So Far Gone and Thank Me Later came out within a year of that single.
Didn't hear much more Wayne after that song, but I Drake was startin' to be everywhere.
That even sound like Drake's flow at the time. Not surprising.

I always found it weird how there's 2 versions of the song and one technically with drake that I never heard of until way later. Makes sense.
