That's a Charter school. Umar wants a Private school so that he can fully control it.
the people who run this controls it and the curriculum

They don't have as much control as a Private school would. They still depending on public taxpayer money, like a public school would.

research who is on the board of advisers for this charter school

I'm not questioning the quality of the school just because of non-Black involvement, but I'm pointing out that it's wrong to use this school to shame Umar's efforts that includes a similar curriculum, but also desires the school to be funded, organized, and administered by Black people to compliment the overall message his school wants to instill in its students

i did and it looks all black even the staff. not trying to use this school to shame dude but just to show a pattern. whenever you come across one of these schools or any legit organization they have a few things in common: a board of people which includes someone with some prior experience, a treasurer to oversee funds, etc something that umar don't have in place. even some churches and school alumni fund raising organizations have those things and for someone to not have that for the amount of money they are asking for is troubling

honestly, the only "research" I did was google each person name...it seems like a white guy is the treasurer

So we may have non-black leadership, from a charter school that receives tax payer dollars and private donations from non-blacks, which is clearly a different agenda
More importantly, I can't compare and judge two efforts with drastically different access to resources

I don't know what's the leadership structure of Umar's schooling is, I could speculate based on what he has said, what he does, and opinions/agendas about him from other folks. Which is why the PR industry and any industry that caters to our vain characteristics are so successful
