So I guess people are going to ignore the elephant in the room, based off those pictures, Mya fell off, bad.
But real talk....
Yall blowing this outta proportion she AINT LOSING
Ive followed alot of interviews of Mya over the past few years she drops gems about this Music game SHE AINT NO DUMMY
Mya since leaving MOTOWN/UNIVERSAL in 2008 has gone full brown INDEPENDENT
Her last album on that major was ventures "LIBERATION" And when the major dropped the ball on that. ..she BOSSED UP and has been putting out indy projects ever since
Her indy projects do real well in Japan and she gets booked on the regular and unlike MOST SIGNED ARTISTS SHE KEEPS HER SHOW MONEY
She is very business savvy and consults her lawyer on everything as she states in this interview

she's a very smart woman and i'm sure she's done right by her money ever since leavin' the major labels alone. i'm shocked she hasn't tapped into doin' some modelin' like for different brands and stores (like macy's). i know a while back she'd gotten into actin' more because i saw a movie on bet a few years ago with her and melyssa ford in it. she's doin' the right thing by goin' the independent route. the key thing is realizin' that it takes more work, havin' a great close knit circle of people who you trust around you, and again just grindin'. she makin' some really great moves, that's great to hear.
