Things just ain't the same for gangstas,
Cops is anxious to put nikkas in handcuffs.
They wanna hang us, see us dead, enslave us,
Keep us trapped in the same place we're raised in.
Then they wonder why we act so outrageous,
Run around stressed out and pull out gauges.

Cause everytime you let the animal out cages,
It's dangerous to people who look like strangers.
But now we got a new era of gangstas,
Hustlers and youngsters living amongst us.
Lookin at us, now calling us busters,
Can't help but reminisce back when it was us.
nikka we started this gangsta shyt.
And this the motherfukking thanks I get?
It's funny how time fly,
I'm just having fun, just watching it fly by.

This does sound like some Nas shyt. :leon:

exactly, was reading the lyrics to the whole song and kept thinking... nah the first verse is way closer to eminem bars structure... nas doesnt write like that..

but then the second & especially the 3rd verse with these bolded lines are totally Nas style, when u think of it now..

Yeah I still think Em definitely wrote some of that too.

"I aint a thug, how much 2Pac in you, you got" = Eminem all day, the structure and using 2Pac as an adjective lol

New Theory, think about this and see if it makes sense to anybody:

First verse written by Jay Z
Second verse written by Eminem
Third verse written by Nas

but Em is the only one who got credit? i think it's plain to see that Em wrote The Watcher, anyone who has owned the cd & seen the liner notes knows this.
