Its one of the most hated on RE games for not being a traditional RE game. Personally I think it was a very good game and I will be buying it for ps4 for some CO op fun. I could care less about traditional RE. If I want the old stuff I'll play the old stuff.

IMO it wasn't hated because it wasn't traditional(RE4 transitioned the whole franchise).
The reason it was most hated was because of the frustrating controls, failing QTE events in the silliest ways. The story and final boss, complete joke.
If they would have built off of RE5(which I'm in the minority of liking).
RE6 could have been special.
The idea was great, it was the execution of the finished product that killed it.

I haven't played it as yet despite getting a copy of RE6 Archives (Code Veronica, 4, 5 and 6 in one bundle) for free from this mom and pop game store that was closing down and the cashier was like ''fukk it, hold this.''If it weren't for that, I'd prolly cop it now...but to be honest I gotta feeling this game's gonna be free before the year out or at the VERY least be back on sale for the same price if not less come Summer, Halloween or Christmas.
