To be honest, the day that you are born you become a slave to work. You spend the first 18-22 years of your life PREPARING for work and the next 40 years at the job 10-14 (commute time included) daily

I would have dropped out of high school and/or never went to college.

Ppl always say "pick a career you'd love to do" but that shyt is damn near impossible. The best most can do is pick a career they can tolerate. But for 30 yrs????

it's probably gonna be more than thirty years cause population is getting older and birthrate decreasing so there will be less people at the bottom of the pyramid to pay taxes to support older people. by the time you get that age, they will most likely raise the age of retirement (if they don't just abolish social security all together on some shyt).

but yeah, that's pretty much what life is about but there are other ways. it's all up to you.

my advice, be grateful for what you have. that you have enough money to support your basic needs and even to have a little fun. but at the same time, if you feel like you need to invest your time into accomplishing something else to be happy, make a plan for it and follow through on that plan. use your job as a stepping stone towards accomplishing that goal.

after work most people are exhausted. They come home cook, shower and bed and do the same shyt again the next day. Work does take up a huge chunk of time. If you are cool with it that's great it doesn't take away that the majority of your life you are working instead of enjoying life. And I don't play video games in my underwear.
