Wait, so Lil Baby can't sell out arenas?

Insinuating someone going on tour at the same time as Beyonce is stupid is gassing her up

It's less gassing her up, and more thinking that the audience's pockets aren't deep enough for these prices that everybody is sharing right now.

I was surprised to find out there there might be more overlap in the audience for acts like Beyonce and these other acts than we might assume, and if most options are asking for healthy triple digits to get in the door, a lot of these acts are about to find out the hard way that there are a lot of people that would rather spend that money on her than them for a variety of reasons.

Key Glock is on tour right now. He does 3-5K seat venues, charges a decent price and is a great live performer.

EVERY SINGLE SHOW ON HIS TOUR IS SOLD OUT.

The problem is rappers get too big for their britches based off their streaming numbers, when most of their fans streaming the music are teenagers/broke people that can't afford to spend $200+ for a ticket, $20+ on gas/Uber to get there, $20+ on concessions and $50+ on merch. nikkas have to get real with themselves.

Only rappers currently that can do genuine arena tours today on the strength of their popularity are Drake and Kendrick. Probably Cole.

Even Future needs a million other niccas on a bill to do arenas.

Even when Lil Baby was at his hottest he STILL wasn't as "hot" as a lot of you thought he was.

It's a difference between streaming Lil Baby, riding around listening to Lil Baby and actually dropping bread to go SEE this nicca perform.
Depends on the ticket pricing - I went to see Future a few months ago and he had Nationwide Arena full.

Aside from Drake, Kendrick, and Cole - I'd imagine Uzi, Thugger (if he wasn't incarcerated), Travis Scott, Post Malone (:scusthov:),Doja Cat, Meg and Gunna could fill stadiums in the biggest cities pretty easily - as long as they price their tickets at $85.00.

You don't need to sell out Arenas to be relevant though. 21 popped in 2015, Uzi in 2016. That's 7 and 8 years of relevance, respectfully. Chance was supposed to be the next Kendrick, Drake, or Cole but he squandered that early into his career.
Chance's career started in 2012 - he had a 7 year run before his last album slowed his momentum :yeshrug:

Stadiums and Arena's are two different things breh.

No rapper can do Stadium Tours (NFL 70,000 fans)

I think Drake can do certain cities and so can Eminem.
