I'm from The Bay. Some slang I thought we created I hear in old NY rap. I think a lot of slang migrated to The Bay via music and we popularized it. But we did not create it. Hyphy is all us. But most slang migrated here and we made it hot.

E 40 and Mac Dre coined slang we use in The Bay. The Hyphy Movement produced a lot of original Bay Area slang. I like it because it's our own language.
