Wait, so there actually people out there that think Klay's better than Steph?

At least I got the balls to show my face.

My name and face are known in these parts, hefty.

Fukk posting stats.

All I know is game 6 against OKC if Klay doesn't go OFF and have an AMAZING and UNDERRATED shooting night GS is sitting at home right now.

He went off in game 4 that they lost to OKC as well. While steph was chilling.

lol, I bet you red the middle two chapters of a book, and decide who the hero is, too.

Breh SO FAR the hero on GS is KLAY THOMPSON.

Honestley it's not even Steph hate, cause if Steph was going off I would give him his props.

My issue is with Klay being underrated. Cause people feel if he gets his just due it will take away from Steph's greatness :martin:

If Steph had the same game 6 Klay had against OKC this forum and the media in general would have been jizzing their pants with excitement and celebrating.

Steph has been in a Shyt ton off foul trouble in these last 2 series and spends A LOT of time on the bench.

So whatever credit you are giving Steph for taking pressure off Klay I can't agree with. He has had some GREAT performance this playoffs while Steph was either CHEERING from the bench or on the floor letting him have the #1 scoring option role.

You can't give Steph Credit for Klay pulling up from 2 or 3 feet behind the 3 point line and hitting with a hand in his face.

Klay was the ONLY Warrior to show any heart on this night and went HAM in the 3rd:

This night he literally SAVED GS from going home.

Steph doesn't have one performance this playoffs better than these 2 and YES i'm including his overtime game were he says "i'm BACK".

No doubt Klay showed up and out for them and has for a while. But could he do it for 82 games and for multiple playoff series as the top guy? That is a question we don't know the answer to and until we do all we can do is speculate. And Klay gets a lot of those open looks off the double teams that Curry is getting once he passes halfcourt. That is why I can say that he benefits from playing with Steph too.

I really don't understand how you can watch a basketball and not see any of this

It's some brain dead negus in here. I mean seriously, how do you watch the game of basketball. Do they just watch the one player with the ball who takes the shot to see if it went in and then check stats later?

Steph Curry has the biggest impact on the court of everyone out there this Finals. He demands that much attention. I just don't get what these people are watching :snoop:

This is exactly how most people watch the game.....

Klay had 6 points in the 3rd and 19 in the 4th

Curry had 14 in the 3rd and 8 in the 4th

GS had 60 2nd half points in game 6. Klay and curry combined for 47. 25 for klay and 22 for curry

You guys shytty narratives are always wrong. The only reason you guys even have this narrative is because when curry was going on his scoring binge in the 3rd OKC was scoring point for point with GS.......when okc's offense fell apart in the 4th it just so happens klay was scoring as well.

Klay clearly has a better sense of urgency of knowing when his team needs him to score. We all look at the score box and see that Curry scored the most and think he had a better game but that isn't always true. Whenever an opponent goes on a scoring run or momentum is shifting, Klay steps up and keeps them in the game then Curry comes in a scores when all of the pressure is off. Curry will watch a team go on these scoring runs and he won't even shoot the ball while Klay will just say "F" this team ball, give it to me and watch me work

:russ: no one is giving Klay open looks because of Curry double team because they are just as afraid of Curry as they are Klay. When teams double Curry, they make sure someone is on Klay. Klay gets open on his own

Breh SO FAR the hero on GS is KLAY THOMPSON.

So what is your point?

Everyone knows Klay is a great player. Everyone knows that Draymond is a great player. Everyone knows that Steph is a great player.

This thread is about Klay being BETTER than Steph... so you either believe that, and you're a fukking idiot, or you don't, but you just wanna argue some nonsense because you're lonely.

Nobody is trying to take away Klay's performances. His game 6 in OKC was awesome. Steph finished that series with back to back to back 30+ point games, too. That's how great teams work, a guy has a slow game or two, other guys pick him up.

Is this your first time watching the sport.... Or your first time posting about it?

So Klay never benefits from the attention that Steph gets? I don't believe that especially considering I've watched the Warriors a lot the past few years. Not saying Klay doesn't get his on his own cause he does a lot but he gets his sometimes off the attention paid to Curry too.

Steph higher ceiling, better off the dribble, better passer and finisher around the rim imo. Klay more "steady", less reckless with the ball. Better defense, but low-key Steph gets more steals and somehow seems (I didn't look up thet stats) to often end up with a fair amount of rebounds for a PG.

But Klay benefits from the attention that Curry draws, so that's that. Plus he doesn't bring the ball up the court.

The only way to benefit from attention paid to Curry is to be wide open and no one is leaving Klay wide open. There will always be someone guarding Klay so how could he benefit from Curry if he is always being guarded?

Like I said there are lots of times during an 82 GAME SEASON that Klay has been wide open off of Steph being doubled on the perimeter or while getting in the paint. You act like I said Klay can't create a shot at all. And it would be no different then me saying Steph gets wide open jumpers to when Klay drives to the hoop or if he's hot and getting doubled. Defenses do make mistakes don't they?

31 10 and 9 in game 6 for steph. If Russ put that statline up nikkas would be in love. Oh did you forget about the 36 in game 7?
