Wait, that's your best friend?

I recently got into the tv show, The Flash and it got me thinking....

Would you ever date someone whose best friend is a (straight) member of the opposite sex?


Personally, I can't judge since my best friend is a dude.

I can date a female who has male acquaintances.

But not a female who has a male best friend.

Men and women don't really have anything in common so that just wouldn't make sense to me.

I don't have a BEST friend. But I do have half a dozen good male friends and it's not like they're creatures from another world. They talk about tv shows and school and Jesus and shyt. It can get a little when they start discussing women or porn. Then I just gotta look at my phone until the subject changes.

I'd say 80% of my friends are women.
I keep very few close-knit male friends but my closest frientd right now is female. So if my woman was to have a male bestie i'd have to accept it.

Half the people in my classes are male. I got a few friends out of like seventy male classmates.

All depends, best friend is a loose term. A lot of ppl take Best Friend to be the longest friend with a good rapport. I got 2 women best friends (among other men) who i dont see often or talk to often, but I've known em for a long time and they've always been loyal.

But that defininetly doesn't mean they've been though hell and back with me like my male friends. Where when shyt hit the fan they were down to ride out.

The only female friends I have, we aren't very close nor are we friends that hang out often. They're just familiar fraces who look out for me. I've also tried to smash both, but I friend zoned both first, then I got hip and got friend zoned myself. But by then we had enough history to keep it cordial.
