They do these training exercises everywhere. They had one in Raleigh in March at a abandoned hotel off Capital Blvd. And didn't warn anyone

Makes sense. If you figure many future battle are going to be fought in urban environments, might as well train IN urban environments.
Personally, I'd have done it in some abandoned spot out in the desert somewhere and nowhere near an actually inhabited city.

I remember people around the country reporting military helicopters just flying around in there cities all suspiciously like some shyt was about to go down a few years ago but I never heard of shyt like this going down.
