Wait what is the problem with The Order 1886?

The order got reviewed for what it wasnt isnt instead of what it is.
That said,it still had plenty of problems. It was short,the werewolf fights were just downright awful and amateurish and the story was passable at best.
The gun play was surprisingly fun though. It could have really used multiplayer because the guns were awesome. Wasted opportunity

What's funny is how the werewolf fights for a 2015 game in The Order wasn't even as serviceable as the supernatural enemies/descendants from the end of Uncharted 1. I got up to that part last night in UC1 on the PS4 collection and the shyt was not too bad for a 8 year old game yet The Order wasn't even as good.
It was a waste opportunity because the gunplay wasn't bad, it just didn't have very compelling enemies and level design supporting it.
The gun mechanics were the best and the werewolf fights wasn't bad from what i have experienced. Just think QuickTime events wasn't bad I just think people expected a system IP killer which it wasn't basically a simple game that's all. One of the best experiences this gen besides a couple of games such as Sunset Overdrive, BF4 and others.
Have you played Ryse? Because it always seems to come up anyway when someone mentions the order.
The game was trash. I played halfway through and was bored as hell. I couldn't finish it (and that says a lot for a 6 hour game) Stupid fights, boring cut scenes. Worst video game purchase of the year for me

i thought it was a solid 7/10 game with beautful graphics and solid gameplay (the werewolf fights were dope)....i do agree it was short tho but hey it was pretty much a launch title

The gameplay was as basic as you could get. The only interesting thing about it were the thermite rifle and the arc rifle and you only used them when the game tells you to, then you're back to pistols and machine guns. You'd think having Nikola Tesla on your side you would have access to wayyyy better weapons from start to finish but nope.
The story was boring and then when things start to get interesting the game fukking ends on some old timey Dark Knight bullshyt. How the fukk to you take something like the Knights of the Round Table fighting supernatural creatures and make it boring as fukk?
The werewolf fights (all eleven of them) were dull as fukk, the worst offenders being the fights with the greater werewolves with boil down to stand, dodge and wait for the QTE. Then they had the god damn nerve to recycle the exact same fight at the end, a few hours after the last fight. Did RAD think that nobody wouldn't notice this?
It's a 5, maybe 6 hour game with no business being $60 with no replayability and no multiplayer. Only excuse to have this game is either your easily impressed by the graphics and can't help but post screenshots of the floor online. This a "Play once over the weekend, platinum it and send it back on Sunday" game through and through.
The game overall was just wasted potential, the 4 and 5 out of 10 reviews were harsh but the 6's and 7's were spot on.

i hated how the game would tell you to do something or go to a certain point, then put you there. or basically automate what it told you to do. that made zero sense to me
picking up objects to look at them was also a waste of time. i loved all the guns tho, and the story was cool. i spent mad time just looking around at the environments, the best thing about the game
